This festive season, IrishWhiskey360 is encouraging people to discover the Irish whiskey distilleries on their doorstep. There are distilleries in every corner of Ireland and a visit to the homes of Ireland’s famous spirit is a perfect way to enjoy the Christmas and New Year break. You can enjoy a Christmas cocktail while learning about the centuries-old craft of Irish whiskey making.

In 2019, Irish whiskey distilleries welcome over one million visitors through their doors, but over 85% of those were from overseas. As a result of the pandemic, Irish whiskey distilleries have a taken a massive hit. However, our members have received strong support from homegrown visitors which has offered a massive boost during these challenging times.

Summer 2021 saw an 800% increase in the number of Irish visitors to the  website following our Summer campaign to promote Irish whiskey distilleries to domestic staycationers.

Note, due to Covid-19 not all distilleries are currently fully open to visitors. Please check individual distillery websites for details of opening times over the Christmas/New Year period and you are advised to book ahead.
